Teaching and open resources

Learning Software Engineering by doing Software Engineering. I teach through projects informed by ISO/IEC standards and the SWEBOK body of knowledge. Collaborative tools help students develop technical skills, teamwork and communication.

My undergraduate teaching covers software engineering, information systems, programming, artificial intelligence, data science, and modeling and simulation. At postgraduate level, my work includes Software Engineering and Databases, Intelligent Systems, requirements, architecture, software quality, cloud computing and related areas.

YaskCode Academy brings together open resources across both levels. YaskCode Laboratory hosts student projects, including Book Wellness, Intelligent Wellness Platform (Team 1, RunCoach AI) and Wellness Lift (Team 6). Their project pages identify student authorship and my teaching and academic evaluation role.

Research and academic guidance

My documented research includes model-driven software development, electronic government, data analysis, and the relationship between information technologies, organizations and society. Artificial intelligence, RAG, multiagent systems and cloud computing also inform my current educational and applied work.

I advise undergraduate, master’s and doctoral research in technology, support research project design and development, and participate in academic evaluation. YaskCode Research is my space for research and methodological guidance.

Community and leadership

I organize Google Developer Group Caracas and create opportunities to learn, share knowledge and connect the university with technology communities.

  • Women Techmakers Ambassador 2026. Supporting women’s participation and leadership in technology.
  • Women in Data Science (WiDS) Ambassador 2026. Promoting data science and learning opportunities.
  • Technovation Girls international judge 2026. Evaluating technology projects by girls and young women.
  • GitHub Education – Verified Teacher. Using collaborative development tools in university education.
